AEE Hungarian Student Chapter „Best Student Chapter"
In the autumn of 2005, the Student Association of Energy established the Hungarian student chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), an international organisation. In September 2006, the AEE World Conference was held in Washington DC. As the Hungarian Student Chapter of the AEE, the Student Association of Energy received the AEE's certificate at the Board meeting, recognising the Hungarian Student Chapter of the AEE as an official chapter.
At the AEE "World Energy Engineering Congress", held in Atlanta in August 2007, we represented our organisation and our country with three presentations. In recognition of our professional work, the AEE Board of Directors awarded the Student Association of Energy with the "Best Student Chapter" award at the Board meeting. In 2008, the association won the "Best Student Chapter Award" again, which was presented in Washington D.C. at the World Energy Engineering Congress.
In recognition of the consistently high quality of our work and the continuous expansion of our activities, the AEE again selected our organization as the best student chapter in 2009, and the delegation that travelled to Washington D.C. in 2009 received the Best Student Chapter award. In 2010, the Student Association of Energy again won the "AEE Best Student Chapter" award, which was presented to the delegation at the World Conference in Washington D.C.
Delegates from our organization were presented with the AEE Best Student Chapter Award for the fifth time in 2011, this time in Chicago. They also won the Best International Newsletter for the first time. Continuing its success in 2012, the Student Association of Energy won the AEE Best Student Chapter Award for the sixth time, this time in Atlanta.
Continuing its success story since 2007, the Student Association of Energy won the "AEE Best Student Chapter International Award" in 2013, for the seventh year in a row. In addition, this year, for the second time, we were also awarded the honour of Best Chapter Newsletter International. The awards will be presented to delegates at this year's World Conference in Washington D.C.
In 2023, the association received the "Best Overall Student Chapter Performance" award for the second time since 2022.
