András Galó
Hi, everyone! My name is Andris, I am an electrical engineering MSc student and a novice electrician. I really got to know the engineering profession at the finals of the Secondary School Contest on Energy organized by the Student Association, and I immediately decided that this was what I wanted to do. I applied to the Association in the fourth semester of my BSc program with the aim of joining an inspiring group of like-minded people. I immediately joined the School Contest project, and then a year later I coordinated the organization of the competition as project manager. Currently, as President of the Association, I am responsible for managing the organization. Our mission with the Board is to ensure high-quality public presentations for the university community, high-level professional development for our members, to promote science and the engineering profession through our projects, and last but not least, to maintain this motivating professional community.
Evelin Dobó
Hi, everyone! My name is Evelin, and I am an energy engineering BSc student, currently in my 7th semester. I joined SAE in the fall of 2023, and my enthusiasm has been unbroken ever since. It has always been crucial for me to surround myself with people who share similar interests and can motivate me, so there was no question that I would find this in the Association. Currently, as Secretary of SAE, I ensure the organization's financial stability, legal operations, supervision of tenders and IT processes, and coordination of operational tasks. Previously, as Deputy Secretary, I assisted the Board and, as Project Manager of the Admission Committee, I dealt with recruiting new members.
Dezső Domonkos Fekete
My name is Domonkos Fekete, and I am a second-year MSc student studying energy engineering. I joined the Association in 2022 and currently hold the position of vice president for projects. I have previously participated in the organization of the School Contest on Energy twice, once as a project manager, and I have also been involved in the Admission Committee and IYCE projects.
As a Board member, I consider it very important to serve as a role model for both the members of the Association and high school students, to help them delve deeper into the world of energy, and to assist them in their personal development.
My goal is to support the smooth and seamless running of projects and to ensure the smooth operation of the Association.
Jázmin Eszter Szabó
Hi, everyone! My name is Jázmin, and I am a third-year BSc student studying energy engineering. I joined the Association two years ago, which was one of the best decisions of my university life. Within the Association, I was very active in the Public Event Organizer Subdepartment, organizing several lectures and plant visits, and I also had the opportunity to try myself out at the Creative Subdepartment. In addition, I participated in several projects: I was a project member of the XVII. School Contest on Energy, and I also helped organize two plant visits abroad, the latter of which I led as project manager.
This year, I am the vice president for public programs, so my job is to provide a variety of lectures and plant visits for students at the university who are interested in energy. My goal is to provide insight into current energy issues in the most exciting ways possible through various programs.
Bálint Hajdú
Hi, everyone! My name is Bálint, I am a second-year electrical engineer and first-year engineering teacher MSc student, and I joined the Association in the fall of 2022. My primary goal is to help the personal development of the members and the development of community through high-quality professional and social programs. During my nearly three years of activity, I participated in organizing plant visits abroad and the BioCon project, coordinated the organization of the "75 Years of Transmission System Operation" mini-conference as project manager, and led the IT Subdepartment for a semester. For me, SAE represents both a motivating community and a high level of professionalism, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by industry, academia, and international organizations.
